Dropping Courses or Withdrawing from the Program
- Students who wish to withdraw from an A-State Online Program will need to drop all but the last course they are registered in.
- Once this step is complete, the student will need to send an email to their contact person confirming that they wish to withdraw from the program completely.
To drop a class, you will need to follow the registration instructions. You will click on drop instead of add.
Textbook Information can be found in Self Service. To view textbook information, follow the steps below.
- Login to myCampus using your email address and password
- Click on the Self Service tab and then Registration
- Click on Look Up Classes and choose a term
- Choose the course you want to view
- Click on the Syllabus Available link.
The textbook and supply information for that course will be displayed. You will also see a link that says "more information". You can click this link to view book costs and book availability information.
Students should register for their last class as soon as notice is received that they are eligible. Once this has been done the student will receive graduation information if they are on track to complete their program of study. Students are required to complete an online Intent to Graduate form through Self Service and pay the graduation fee. More information, including deadlines and specific fees, can be found on the graduation website.
Students will be given the option to walk at the graduation ceremony; however, if final grades are not in at the time of graduation, a diploma will not be distributed that day. The diploma will be mailed to the student once final grades are in and verified.
Cap & Gown Information
Herff Jones will have an online site available where you can order your cap and gown, and even your graduation invites at https://collegegrad.herffjones.com/ (You will recieve an email to let you know when this link goes live for ordering regalia, as well as the deadline for doing so.)
Not Attending the Ceremony?
If you do not wish to participate in the graduation ceremony, please let us know. Diplomas will be mailed to out-of-town graduates who complete the online form. Diplomas will NOT be mailed to third parties including family members, unless written consent is provided. If your diploma is not mailed we will hold your diploma in our office for you to pick up.
Transcripts can be requested from the Office of Admissions, Records and Registration.
