Biography

Rachel “Bow” Hendrix is an Academic Advisor for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. Bow is from a 40 acre family farm outside of Trumann, Arkansas, and still lives there. She has worked in the Arkansas Heritage Sites Office at A-State from 2011 to 2014, where she was able to do research and assist with the opening and maintenance of several historic sites in Arkansas. Bow is very passionate about serving diverse populations and worked as a Program Coordinator for the Office of Multicultural Affairs from 2017 until 2020. Bow also serves as an advisor for the Gender and Sexuality Alliance, as well as the Feminist Union. Bow hopes to have a long and successful career working with A-State Students while pursuing a doctoral degree and researching student identity development. In her spare time, Bow raises English Angora Rabbits, and enjoys working on her farm.
