Congratulations to A-State Voice Students!

The Arkansas State National Association of Teachers of Singing Conference was held February 24-25, 2017 at Harding University in Searcy, AR. Fourteen A-State students competed in the annual Student Auditions at the conference. A-State came home with two winners:

  • Crystal Kachevas won 1st Place in the Category of Junior Women.  Crystal is a voice student of Dr. Marika Kyriakos.

  • Breunka Kimbrough won 2nd Place in the Category of Younger Advanced Women.  Breunka is a graduate voice student of Matthew Carey.

In addition to these two winners, A-State had 7 semi-finalists:

  • Bryanna Sikes (student of Matthew Carey)
