Dr. Brinda McKinney is a healthcare professional who has a passion for life and people. She began her career in healthcare as a Licensed Practical Nurse and systematically completed AAS, ASN, BSN, MSN and PhD degrees. She has 30 years' experience as a nurse, including 22 years in nursing education, and 19 years in senior management for healthcare.  Dr. McKinney has spoken across the United States on topics such as nursing education, online education, service excellence, professional accountability, domestic violence, and professional stress reduction. She is a licensed assisted living administrator and currently serves as Chair for the BSN program at Arkansas State University.

Dr. McKinney is the president of the board for a local homeless shelter and the vice-president for the Northeast Arkansas Federal Credit Union chain. She is an active member of the Greene County Coalition and is a current member and past president of Greene County Business and Professional Women.  Brinda volunteers for the Children's Miracle Network, Civitan, St. Jude's, American Cancer Society, Camp Hope, and the American Heart Association.

Dr. McKinney enjoys traveling, reading and volunteering.
