We are located at 333B Red Wolf Blvd. We are adjacent to the Football Stadium and next to St. Bernards First Care Clinic.
Do I need an appointment and do I need my Student ID?
In order to serve you better, we prefer you call us at 870-972-2054 to make an appointment.
Yes. All Students must have their Student ID before being seen.
What do I do when the Health Center is closed?
You may choose to go to any of the following facilities, however, Arkansas State University does not assume responsibility for payment of emergency transportation, emergency room fees, prescriptions, or outside test such as x-rays, labs, etc.

What do I do in case of an emergency?
In case of a life-threatening emergency (i.e. heart attack, stab wound, choking, near drowning) call A-State Police at "870-927-2093" or Dial "911". Also, the above clinics and/or hospitals mentioned may be able to handle your emergency and/or serious health problem/ crisis.
If an ambulance is needed from the residence halls, please contact a staff member in order to ensure optimal service.
What do I have to pay for?
There is no charge for office visits at the Student Health Center. Certain services such as laboratory tests, procedures, and immunizations are offered on a fee-for-service basis. Insurance is not billed, charges are applied directly to the student's account.
What about confidentiality at the Student Health Center?
Information obtained and recorded in your medical chart is kept strictly confidential. The medical staff have access to your chart only. Students are protected under patient/provider confidentiality provisions. Medical information may be released only with your written permission, except in cases specified by the law.
Will I ever be referred to another health care provider?
Depending on your specific health care needs, you may be referred to a specialist, medical doctor, or other health care agency that may be better able to assist your health care problem or need.
What if I am graduating and experiencing a health insurance coverage gap?
