Incoming international graduate (masters, specialist, and doctoral) students must follow the steps below to be admitted.

1. Meet the Admission Criteria

    Review the admission criteria to make sure you qualify to be a Red Wolf!

2. Complete the International application and pay the $40 (masters

     and specialist) or $50 (doctoral) fee.

     Application

3. Collect the correct documents and upload them here or mail them

  • What documents do we need for graduate students?
    • Copy of your passport that does not expire within one calendar year.
    • Financial statement/bank letter in English issued by a bank or financial institution along with a sponsorship letter from the sponsor, if applicable.  Documents must be less than one year old and show a checking or savings account balance of at least $22,000 USD.
    • Any college/university transcripts that you have.  It is A-State's policy that you MUST disclose all academic work.  We need all semester mark sheets.
    • Diploma/degree certificate.
    • Agreement to Submit Official Documents form.
    • Any test scores that might be required, such as the GMAT, GRE or MAT.
    • Additional documents for specific programs (see programs listed below).For admission purposes we can accept unofficial documents.  All official documents in properly sealed envelope (for students who are admitted with scanned documents during admissions process) need to be brought upon arrival.  Failure to bring official documents upon arrival will result in non-enrollment which in turn will result in termination of your immigration record.  Documents given to A-State will not be returned.

    For all the majors not listed below, they go by the International Admissions set deadlines.

    • Criminal Justice-May 1 for Fall admission, November 1 for Spring Admission
    • Engineering-October 1 for Spring admissions, April 1 for Fall admission
    • Engineering Management-February 15 for Summer, June 1 for Fall, October 15 for Spring
    • Environmental Sciences-February 15th for Fall, July 15th for Spring (same for Masters and PhD)
    • Heritage Studies-Fall, January 15th (Fall only start dates)
    • Molecular Biosciences- February 15th for Fall, July 15th for Spring (same for Masters and PhD)
    • DPT—February 1st for Fall (Fall only start dates)
    • Political Science—Fall, April 30th, Spring-November 30th
    • Social Work—Fall only, Second Friday in February
